Homebuyer's Program
The first step to homeownership is education with certified credit and housing counselors. Classes prepare potential homeowners with topics such as credit issues, finance management, successful home ownership and building a strong credit history.
Together with a counselor, a complete review of each individual's current situation will be completed. Then a personalized Home Ownership Plan will be created.
The Housing Corporation of Charlotte County, Inc. is a non-profit organization under contract to administer SHIP (State Housing Initiatives Partnership) funds for home ownership programs.
